Nov. 9 Service Project

One of the district's Scout leaders injured his back and needed assistance with a project in his front yard. Troop 23 volunteered to help him. Tasks included removing rocks from the plant bed, digging out roots, smoothing the dirt with rakes, and hauling loads in a wheelbarrow. The owner used a truck to extract two bushes. The project was fun, the weather was warm, and we were rewarded with brownies at the end!
